NAIDOC

For the last two years LA Couch has proudly hosted NAIDOC DAY Event on Dhudhuroa Country - Myrtleford Victoria's Alpine Shire.
Together, with a strong sense of purpose and an inspiring vision for healing together, we payed tribute to what has been accomplished, what is still to come, and the path ahead. Our event continued the success of the last years first gathering, bringing together our community – First Nations families, community groups, service providers and local organisations. The event celebrated the rich traditions of the oldest living culture through music, dance, cultural activities, stalls and more.
NAIDOC 2025 celebration was a shining example of Indigenous resilience and cultural pride. Led by Lee Couch & th Myrtleford NAIDOC Committee, the event united Aboriginal communities, fostering a deep sense of cultural integrity, respect and connection. As the broader community was welcomed to join in, the event became a powerful symbol of collective healing, demonstrating the profound impact of community-driven cultural celebration.
