Each woven piece emulates the shape of gilay when it is completely illuminated. This circular piece also celebrates the fullness of pregnancy and its connection to the birthing journey and inner child.
Women’s Wellneing
Gilay is a Women Business Workshop Inner Child and Womb Healing. This workshop provides an opportunity for participants to reconnect with their inner child, facilitate womb awakening, and engage with the elements of sacred water. It aims to immerse individuals in the practice of women's sacred work, assisting them in embodying their true selves, much like the continuous flow of a river. In the Gamilaraay language, "Gilay," meaning moon, represents our vital connection to water. Embracing this understanding deepens our appreciation for gunimaa – Mother Earth, our life-giving force.
